Tyler- it’s had to make and exact simulation for something like this due to our environment we are in and how it differs from those of third world countries. For starters even though we weren’t eating we still had beds to sleep in, roofs over our heads, and running water for showers. We didn’t have to fend for our lives at all and if anything were to happen we could easily be taken care of. Also one thing that was different I believe was the fact that all around us we had food and we watched our friends eating it. In that affect it definitely made you crave for it when it is all in front of your face. One thing I noticed is that when your hungry food is definitely on your mind a lot. By dinner Sunday I was definitely hungry by dinner time and soon had a terrible headache. It was pretty easy to keep up with my 32 oz of water and I didn’t have trouble spreading it out for the whole two days. Most of Monday went by all right except dinnertime I wasn’t feeling good. Then ten o clock came and our fast was over. I bought a beef ramen from a neighbor for a dollar and went to bed. Tuesday I woke up and went to the pickle and bought a pop tart. By twelve PM Tuesday the project was over and I can definitely say I didn’t want to do it again. I was lucky also to do this project with dance being over because it would have definitely been worse doing physical activity. As Americans we are definitely spoiled in the aspect that we can find what we need to survive relatively easily.
